John Johnston
John. Johnston died at the home
of his daughter Mns. Charles Seuoh
In bele 97th year was the oldest res-
idence of Morris township, his wife
predeceased him 18 years ago. He
was the 5011 of the late George and
Margaret Johnston. AIr. Johnston
had lived on the 1st line of Morris
all his life. IIntil one year ago when
he came to visit his daughter and
took a stroke and has been bed fast
most of the time. He is survived by
three. daughtens ,read three $ons,

SANTA CLAUS PARADE
SATURDAY DECEMBER 11
The annual Brussels Santa Claus
Parade will be held this year on
Saturday, Dec. llth. A giant parade
is being planned with costumed fairy
tale characters accompanying St,
Nicholas, Of course there will be
clowns and two bands will be in att-
endance. There will .also be floats.
This parade is sponsored by the
local branches of the Liens Club. the

spent last week holidaying at her
home here.
The many trlends of Mrs C. J.
Pegelow were sorry to hear of her
critical illness in Listowel, hospital.
We are glad to report that Mr. J.
W. Fischer, who suffered a heart
attack early this week is improving.
Mrs. Fend Smith, returned home
after a two-month vacation in Wes*
ern Cascade. She had an enjoyable
time visiting relatives, but is glad to
be beak been.
