A welcome was extended by Mrs. G. Godbolt, Centralia, after whish the secretary of the Presbytery Association, Mns. J. McGill, Clinton read the higihlig'hte, of the annuae meeting held in Walton in May. The treasurer's report was given by Nes. W. Turnbull, Brussels. Highlight of the afternoon was a talk by Mrs, J. Y, McKinnon, London, who stated khat the Wo- men's Association of the United Church in Canada lead in 1953, 200,611 members in 5,9t4 organizat- ions. She urged the members to be an asrset to the spiritual life of the church reminding them that the making of money was but a minor concern.
