their meeting every other week at

The second asthma rally of Huron
Presbytery Women's Association of
the United Church of Canada was
held in Centralia Wednesday after-
noon. with a large number or dele-
gates preesnt
Mrs. C. 0, Washington. of Auburn
presided,
The worship service was conduct-
ed by the Blyth W. A. with Mrs. E.
Wright in charge. The scripture read-
ing, given by Mee C. Ladd, was toll -
owed by a devotional talk by Mrs, L.
Scrimgeour, who spoke on being a
"good toegetter".
A welcome was extended by Mrs.
G. Godbolt, Centralia, after whish
the secretary of the Presbytery
Association, Mns. J. McGill, Clinton
read the higihlig'hte, of the annuae
meeting held in Walton in May. The
treasurer's report was given by
Nes. W. Turnbull, Brussels.
Highlight of the afternoon was
a talk by Mrs, J. Y, McKinnon,
London, who stated khat the Wo-
men's Association of the United
Church in Canada lead in 1953,
200,611 members in 5,9t4 organizat-
ions. She urged the members to
be an asrset to the spiritual life of
the church reminding them that the
making of money was but a minor
concern.

Mrs N. Relict Walton, express-
ed the thanks of the visiting ladies

spoke to the ladies, of the import
