The I‘Tovember meeting of the
W. M. S. of the United Church, met
last ;Tuesday afternoon in r the
church parlor and was presided over
by the president, Mrs. A. Lane and
Mrs. R. S. Hamilton at the piano.
A hymn was sung followed by pray-
er
rayer by Mrs, W. Todd., The scripture
reading. from Acts, was taken by
Mrs. B. Bray and prayer by Mrs.
W. Bell. The Sec. and Treas. re-
ports were read and adopted. A let-
ter of appreciation wars read from
Miss E. McCracken. The. roll call
was emsiwered by a yerse containing
the word gift. Five calls were re-
ported by the visiting committee.

W. M. S. to attend a meeting on Fri-
day, Nov. 12, at which Mrs. L
Wiglhtmen of Wingbam, will be the
guest Weaker. It was announced
