A very enjoyable social was spent
on Friday evening Nov. 6 when Mr.
and Mrs. Ohas. K. Lake entertained
about thirty guests in honor of their
parents Mr and Mrs. Leslie Lake on
the occasion of their thirtieth wed -

The evening was spent playing
court whist after which they assem-
bled in the living room where in a
few well chosen words by Jas. Bre
muer they were presented with a full
size mirror by Percy Ward. Mm. Lake
responded briefly thanking them for
their lovely gift and the spirit in
which it was given.
A delicious lunch was served by
the hostess, and a social time spent.
