Evening AlapiulaT7 was :held on Wed-
nesday evening, May letlt in the

from Walton and Henfryn Guilds as
guests, Rev. Ellis conducted the
devotional period and genre a talk on
the recent synod meetings held in
London. The minutes of the last
meeting were read and adopted, fol-
lowed by the dues and cooper collect-
ion. Tentative plans were made for
the garden party on June 254h. Meet-
ing dlosed by the Rector -atfd lunch
was served by a committee of the
EveJ1ing Amfiilfary and St. John's
Ladies Gelid;
BLVEVALE LIBRARY
'OFFICIALLY OPENED
The official opening and dediea-
tion of the new public library was
kaki on Friday night.
The opening climaxed months of
bard work by citizens of the cam-
munbty who donated their servdoes
to build the library, and othere who
made donations.
The library, located In the com-
munity hall blaseme7dt, 'proved in-
adequate, The present modern struc-
ture t'e equipped with several bun-
dled books along with pool books
from other libraries and 100 books
from the Huron County Mobile Lib-
rary which services 'the area every
tbree months.
Present librarian is Mrs. Harry
Elliott.

of Bluevale, and A. H. Erskine, of
