THE VOICE of TEMPERANCE
The amount Of trouble resulting
from the drinking liquor is' direct-
ly proportionatte to the amount eon-,
sinned, The amount com&umewi is
gniely pro.lMrtunatte to the facilities
tiered to the Trade by law. Far -
reediting slcientiflc roseasch has ea
tahlisated the above truths, If an
Ontario town at present under the
L.C.A. votes to close One or more
liquor outlets, 1iqu.or consumption in
that ,town will certainly decrease, In
Huron County, "under the C. T. A. no
legal outlets for liquor Bale exist.
Granted a measure of illegal este,
the total consuntpliblon in Huron,
judged by the trouble resulting from
driving here as compared with
L, C. A., counties, is' comparatively
small, The ptoiice report for a small
neighbouring town tinder the L.C.A.
for the months of September and
October 1953, revealed that of 48
cases hakes to count, 22 were for
infractions of the L. C. k This town
has at least 5 legal outlets. No town
in Huron County had any s;Uoh
record of crime. Advt.
