Rupert 4-11 junior farm clubs went to

tests of their knowledge of 4-11 club
work, and then had a program of

of 13 4-11 clubs in south and central
Huron. A similar test day for 4-H
clubs in North Huron ie to be held

On their test papers the club mem-
bers had to produce .answers to such
questions as: Give a symptom and a
remedy for eadl4 of rhinitis, anaemia,
lire, hog cholera; give definitions of
each, gestation lactation period,

ed, trimmed and clipped for show, '

vided a calf for AT. Baker's demon
stration of show preparation of a
dairy calf. Mr. Turnbull brought a
sow from the Turnbull herd of

Miss Carrie Hingston has received
Word from Winnipeg of the death of
her nephew William Edward Parr,
from an attack of Polio.
The dseeased gas barn on Aug. 9,
1909 at Harding, Man., and grete to
manhood there. For several years
he held dposition with the Albert
Kerr Hide Op. of Toronto, with
Manitoba and Saskaitehewan as his
territory.
On N„4. Sth, 1946 he was, married
to Miss Minnie Williams of Saska-
toon, Sask., who with a son Gary are
left to mourn husband and ,Mather.

township on Thursday, August 27th,
after an illness of over a year Isa-
bella Coulter beloved wife of the
late Archibald Clarke, in he 94th
year. Thr lake Mrs. CIarke was

the late Samuel Coulter and Cath.
