The death occurred in Wingham
Genernl hospital Last week, atter a
long illness. of Margaret Olive
Scott, -a daughter of the late Fran-
cis B. Scott and hie wife the late ,
Margaret Isbister Scott. •
Miss Scott Dan liven all her
life in Bluevale, a life that had
many interests. A member of
Knox Presbyterian (Murch, she
served as its secretary -treasurer for
00 years President of the Ladies'
Aid for several years and an hon•
crary life member of the W. M. S.
end was also on the executive of
Maitland Presbyterial for nearly a
score of years. She was library and
literature secretary for five years
and was an honorary life member
of the Presbyterial group.
She tont a deep interest in Wo-
men's Institute work and was a
very efficient secretary of Bluevale
branch for a long period. For Mx
years she acted as secretary for
East Huron District.
The funeral service was held in
Knox Presbyterian Church on Fri-
day. Rev. Alex Nimmo of Wing
ham, conducted the service in the
absent of the pastor, Rev. Mr,
Baillie. Burial was made in Blue.
vale cemetery.
The pallbearers were: A, D.
Smith, Burns Moffatt. Arnold Lii.
low. Raymond Elliott, Roy Turvey,
and Cloyne Higgins. -
Surviving are one slater, Mrs.
F. (Mary, Garniss; one brat: et.
Malcolm Scott, both of B1neTEVOI
and n niece. Mrs, Nell Mao-
