CROP REPORT
by G. W. Montgomery
July 1Stli, 1953
Haying le approximately 75% com-
pleted and aftermath growth has
been excellent. Most of the barns
damaged by the hurricane winds
on May 25th have no -w been repaired
or rebuilt. A few fields of fall wheat
were cut in the south end of the
County this week. The hot humid
weather this past week has caused
all of the grain crop to turn colour
more quickly than expected. Cult-
vated crops midi snnoybeans, sugar
beets, white beans and more pestle.
ularly corn have benefited from the
mein weather and made excellent
grOwth this week.
