About 45 years aro the -y went West taking up home- steads, but on account of drought, they moved westward and a few rears ago they and some of the family went to Rolla, 13. C. Death was the result of a heart attack he- ing in hospital only a few days. She is survived by her husband and .crown up family living in different western Parts. When we display these embiems of remembrance made by the hands of disabled veterans who offered themselves in our. defence, we re- mind ourselves and our ohildren of the terrific price that has been . paid for our freedom. And also show the world that these heroes and what they died for shall never he forgotten by us. The contributions by the Public provides employment for disabled veterans, helps veterans and wid- ows and orphans of vterans to obtain their Just recognition in the forms of pensions and allowances through the Canadian Legion.
