William John Smalldon
There passed away in Listowel
Hospital on Sunday evening, Oct.
12, William John Smalldon. He had
been a patient in the hospital for
two weeks and in declining health
for several months. A son of the
late John Smalldon and Susan Woods,
he was born on Avg, 23, germ#y-five
years ago on Lot 15, Con, 10, Grey
Township. where she lived vuttl six
years. On June 12, 1901, he marr-
ied Miss Catherin lassie Mc -Dougall
who prederoared him on Den, 6, 1950,
He is survtwed by once son Fred.
Craml-rook, and .three daughters.

year old brother at Balmoral, Man.

This grand old lariv hasn't achiev-
ed her 90 years by living in idleness.

families. Her mother Merl leaving
her the eldeet of four children, and

children of her own and when her
deugittei-in-law died leaving 5 young
Mtildren. She kept .house fop het

She was born in Ethel in 1862 anter

FARMER HURT IN
UNUSUAL ACCIDENT
Dolan McDonald, farmer in the
Rluevale district, is in' Wingbam
Hospital with injuri,,s received in I
an ,unusual accident Friday night,

him after the animal had been hit
by a gravel truck.
At about 7.00 p. m on Friday, Mr,
McDonald was driving three nettle
along the sideroad which connects

driven by Lyn Rip came along the
sideroad the three animals bolted ,
in front of the truck, and the trunk
