A. and W. M. S. was held on Wed., Oct, 1st at the home of MTs. Ken. Smith. Mrs. Eldon Mann was leader. Dhe minutes were road by Mrs. Ken. McLean, and the roll •call was answered by naming a Presbyterial officer, 23 ladies were present. Mrs. Ken. Ludington the president, conducted ,.tut business. A committee was named to look atter the Thankoffering meeting, an in- vitation is to be extended to the inion and Walton Societies. Dele- gates were appointed to attend the Seetional meeting In Londesboro on Oot. 20th. The offering was re- et ived. Mrs. Charles Harrison read the Scripture, Romans 12;3.8. Mrs: Ken. Ludington led in prayer. The topic was well given by Mrs. Rev. Thomas on Siena, Italy. Hymn 504 was :lung and. The Lord's Prayer was repeated In unison. The W. A. meeting was opened by repeating the 23rd Psalm, with L Mrs. .Toe Smith in charge. The minutes were read by Mrs. Allan McTaggart. Tt was reported that the new hymnal -lea had arrived. The meeting was closed by repeating the Mizaph benediction. The November meeting will he held at the home of Mrs. Allan McTaggart. The Monorieff Anmiiversary Ser- vices were held on Sunday, Sept. East, with Rev. Gidrdon Hazle- wood of Mount Forest as guest speaker. Special music by the choir wader the direction of Mrs. 1111don Mann, was assisted by the soloist Mr. Carl Steiff of Listowel.
