He leaves to mourn els passing

Nichol) of Medicine Hat and Isa-
belle (Mrs. James Bell) of Water-

by three brothers and six sisters as
well are his parents.

William George Hingston
In August 1st, William George
Hingston passed away at his home
in San Diego, California in lois S4tb
year.
He was the second eon of Richard
T, Hingston and his wife Harriet
Hayoroft Hdngeton, and was born
and grew to manhood in Brussels,
Ont.
After living In Seaforth and Rol-
land,. Manitoba for some years,. he
joined the adventvners who travell-
ed lite trail of "98" for the Klondike.
living at Dawson City and Fairbanks,

coming bade to Vancouver, where
he was engaged in, sheet metal busi-
ness.
While living. in Vancomrvea• he was
joined in marriage in 1918 with Miss
Eva Brackett, fonmerly of Orillia.

and a final move was made to San
Diego, California where the last
years of his life were spent.
Surviving him are his widow,
two sisters, Mrs. E. E. Parr and Miss
Ceurrle Hingston of Brussels, Ont.
and one brother, Oharles R, Hing -

Ont. .

The Archdeacon in brief remarks
weloomed the new minister and his
family, lately arrived from Eng-
land, observed that Canada could
benefit much by extending a warm
reception to those .Who had, like Mr.
Ellis "torn up their roots" to come
to Canada.,
Rev, A. J. Ostle of Chester, who
addressed the congregation, spoke
of his long friendship w.itb Mr.
Eli's, their having been curates to-
gether and later rectors of adjoin-
ing parishes in England, and of the
new rector's outstanding work with
young people. He also stated hone
pleased he was to take poet in the
present induction service as he had
been present at the inducton of Mr.
Ellis at Waterloo, Liverpool. Mr.
Ogle based his address on the 27th
verse of the 12 c'hapt. I Corinthians
"Now ye are the body of Christ and
members in pettieuiar," Hie ere
phasized that the ohurch is not a
building nor an, .organdvation but the
relation of the .community to the
risen Lord.
An invitation was extended to all
present to an informal reception held

after the service, After lunch sev-

Oldham expressed his pleasure at
being presenit and predicted a happy
