Price stability depends on many things, but principally upon the`
relationship between wages and production.
If wages go up without a corresponding rise in the volume of
man-hour production. then \
p prices are bound to go up too. So it is
really up to the Canadian people whether or not we have stable
prices.
If we Canadians want the cost of living to stabilize then we must
see that man-hour production keeps pace with wages.

1Jildence that the appraisal of the

ample. The fact that there are
still strikes and threats of strikes
in spite of flaking retail 'prices and
fulling industrial production while,
at the incNttime, the highest indust-

the danger of inflation.
The werlvu of advertisements
Published in Ontario weekly news-
papers at this time by The Steel
Company of Canada, Limited, have
nothing ,to do with the steel industry
as such, but they are helpful in
giving Canadians a bed,ter under•

a time when such understading is

of inflation.
itis evidence of the constructive
trend of business thinking that this

Modern mechanized equipment h s
m cue "muscde-fw. rming" out -of. tate
Do it with machines —not with muscles —is the modern concept of
farm operation. The work can be done easier, quicker, better, and
at less cost the machine way— and there is less worry and less ex-
pense when you use machine help instead of inexperienced and
costly labor. No man who has experienced the many advantages
of operating with modern equipment would want to go back to the
days of "muscle -farming."
Some of the greatest advances in mechanization in the history of
agriculeure have been made in recent years. Your Massey -Harris
local dealer will be glad to give you full details of the complete line
of Massey•Harris modern farm machines:
