THE VOICE OF TEMPERANCE
Which is the better temperance
measure -- the Canada Temperance
Art or the Liquor Control Act? Un-
der which 001 is druakeness more
in evidence? \\'e have the answers
to the first question in the second
cuPst tee answer. One of our
ministers lived for some years in a
busy toren In South Western Ontario.
Fc r the prod three years be has
lived in heron County. He asserts
unhesitatingly that he saw evidences
of druukonnes, every day in that
10vert that was tinder the Liquor
control Aad and that he hardly
ever saes anyone drunken in the
Huron County town. Another new-
comer to T•Turon had lived In sub-
urban Toronrfo. There it sofas n com-
mon sight on The ah•eels near the
beer parlors. men staggering with
strong drink. Here in a quiet Huron
County town he 'testifies that it is a
rare sight. Ask any Dorsch who has
lived under the two aot3. He knows
the answerra to Mire question—which
is the better temperance measure?
is thare anyone anywhere who will
=sect that there is less evldenee
of drunkenness under the Liquor
Control Act with its liquor stores
and beer parlors and cocktail
