with a halo of orange blossoms
. and she carried a bouquet of Better
Times roses and stephanotis.

THREE HUNDRED' ORPHANS

Mitchell had Word last week from
their Son, Ted, who is on active
service in Korea. For some weeks
Ted had been in hospital suffering
from shell shock but now Is driv-
ing an ambulance.

death or separation. Ted tells

Says It". "Cinderella. Dip -to -date,".
and 'Schooldays" were presented.
A' Flag Drill by the junior boys and
a "roll Drill" by the senior pupils
were effectively given. Other num-
bers .were a quartet by Mary Hay-
den,
ayden, Joyce Jaokl.in, Heith McLennan
and Bob Barwick. n solo by Jerald
Hayden, piano solos by Isobel
Dennis and Joyce Jaoklin and songs
by the Junior putpiL5.
A pageant which told the Christ-
mas Story consisted of group songs,
quartets, duets and solo. MT. Ned
Thompson was chairman for the
evening and Mrs. Doreen McCreath,
the teacher, was in charge of the
program. Mrs. George McKay and
Mise Grace, Hayden assisted. Santa
Claus arrived and distributed gifts
and candies. Lunch was served
and dancing followed to tlhe music
of WNheels orchestra.

Th funeral service was held from
Park Memorial Funeral Home on
Thursday Dee Emil) er 6 at 2.30 p.m,
with Dev, J. L. Pottruff of North Hill
United Church conducting the
service.
Interment was made in Burnsland
Cemetery.
Mr. isteLanohlin started working
as a unfitted at the Brussels Post in
1914 under Mr. W. H. Herr then the
owner.
