With Blue Spruce
A blue, spruce tree was given to
the United Church Sunday School
for their Christmas• tree by Norman
Hoover. Twelve years ago his
father. ,R. J. Hoover, brought blue
spruce seed from the West and
plantr:d them on his farm. This is
one of the trees that grew from the
seed,
Mr, George Hopkins of Kitchener,
a first-year student, conducted the
morning service in Knox Church on
Sunday, 'Dec, 19. The anthem wee
"What a Wonderful Saviour" by
Ackley. Sabbath' School has been
discontinued for the winter mouths.
At the close of the Sunday morning
classes Testaments were presented
to Marion 1V11Dohe1, Wayne Cameron,
Maxine Smalidon, Isabel and Faye
Engel, Elaine and Ray Keriiaghan
and Jimmie Perrie, as a reward for ,
good attendance.

funeral In Windsor of Thursday,
Dec. 16 of Mr. D. Blackburn, brother-
in-law of Mrs, Robt. Campbell. Mrs,
Campbell remained in Windsor with
her stater.
