fed champions in the calf club at Campbellford. The winners
Isobel McDonald first in Holstein division, and Archie McCook
first in Ayrshire group, were given special prizes equal to their
calf club awards.

The forty -odd entries of the Campbellford baby show were
finally narrowed down to these four youngsters. The two judges
who had a very difficult time deciding—Mrs.. T. Lee, 12.N.,
and Mrs. T. S. Little, R.N.

A group of the Ontario Dairy Instructors judge the 49 cheeses entered in the Campbellford ;
Fall Fair. This was the largest exhibit of cheese products in Ontario outside of the big three
—The C.N.E., the Royal Winter Fair, and the Western Fair.

The Urinous 110awss" Black Horses were a sure applause -getter in front of the stands at the
Lindsay Exhibit/on. Attendance this year at the Exhibition was well above any previous

Tiny Canuck Wins Scottish Prize

Myrna Plumley, Cornwall, going through the intricate steps
of the Sword Dance in front of the Avonmore Grandstand.
Myrna is only eight and in this, her first year of competition,
has won six medals at Lachine, Ottawa and Fergus.

doing one of many behind -the -scenes chores at one of the Fall
Fairs. Here Mr. Shea is rolling the mane of his Belgian brood
mare. Mr. Shea showed ten heavy horses at the Lindsay
Exhibition.
