First -Born Calf at C.N.E. Gets Tender Care

Just Four Hours Old, is this Holstein calf being lovingly held by young Jacqueline Burleigh
of Toronto. This soft -eyed wobbly little fellow was admired by all a•ho saw him, especially
the city folks, for whom he was a new sight. Jaqueline hopefully asked if she could take him
hone with her.

Cat that Swims, Largest at C.N.E. 61zllovir

Pinky,' Largest Show Cat in Canada, is shown by his proud
mistress Edythe Wiles, Toronto. Pinky, a 25 -pound White and
Gold Shorthair won for the second year as the best short hair
neuter cat in show and several' special prizes. According to his
owner Pinky eats a whole tin of salmon each day, is able to
q'vim and will retrieve sticks just as well as a dog.

All Dressed Up—But SOMEWHERE to Go—for there were
lenty of attractions at the Zurich Fa11 Fair, not only for the
'grown-ups" but also for the younger generation, three of
whom are pictured here by the Ful-O-I'ep photographer in
fancy dress.
