BLYTH, Feb. 10 -Mrs. Annie Tay-
lor Ashdown, widow of Rev, Charles
R. Ashdown, B.A. Ph.D., died in
Strathroy .Sunday following an Ill-
ness of two weeks. Mrs. Ashdown
was. in. her 77th year and was the
last member of the family of Rev.
S. B. and Mrs. Taylor. She was born
at the farm home on the 9th con-
cession of Morris townsh!p where
her nephew, Kenneth Taylor, now
resides. Mrs. Ashdown was a mem-

1940 Dr. Ashdown received a call
to a, pastorate et Cooderiim where
he died in 1948. Since her husband's

home at Strathroy where she lived
alone until three years ago when
she had the misfortune to break her
leg, and since that time had lived

service was held this morning fol.
