Mrs. Ashdown was. in. her 77th year and was the last member of the family of Rev. S. B. and Mrs. Taylor. She was born at the farm home on the 9th con- cession of Morris townsh!p where her nephew, Kenneth Taylor, now resides. Ashdown had made her home at Strathroy where she lived alone until three years ago when she had the misfortune to break her leg, and since that time had lived with a friend isa Strathroy.
