Several years ago, I happened to see a movie made at commencement exercises at a high school in our city, It was a documentary film and caught the feeling of the occasion. A number of the scenes it depicted might well bo caught in a series of still pictures which would cover almost every aspect of a high school graduation. There were shots of. the graduates dressing at home, shots of them falling in line for the procession into the school's auditorium, shots of the faces of parents as they proudly watched the ceremonies, Shots such as these, informal and natural, help tell the story of grad- uation—or, if you will, commence- ment, In either case they help tell it well. 207 —John van Guilder FOR THE GROOM: Perfectly matched —and the en. gagement dia- mond Is flaw. less, ..--And For HER ATTENDANTS A SIGNET RING Hmranomelyki. tP W 1 5 50 gostyled. 10 ld.
