Applications are invited for a
NURSING ASSISTANTS' COURSE
commencing November 19th.
This course consists of three months' classroom instruction
and six months' practical instruction in hospital. Central
schools are located at Toronto, Hamilton and Kingston.
ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS
• Age —18 to 40 years
• Grade 10 Education
• Good Health
Students receive $60.00 per month less maintenance. Uniforms
are provided. Transportation is paid for students from their
place of residence to the central school.
On successful completion of the Course graduates receive a
certificate from The Department of Health.
Applicants should apply immediately to the

The regular monthly meting of the
W.M.S. was held at the home of Mrs,
R. K. McDonald on November 6.
Peelm 74 "0 God our help in ages
past' 'was sung. Mrs. M. Engel
read the scripture lesson from
Psalm 107 verses 1-15. The secretary
read the minutes and these were
approved. Sixteen responded to
the roll call with a verse of Scrip-
ture containing the word "Thanks-
giving," Psalm 93 "0 worship
the King', was sung. The treasurer,
Mrs, Robt, Campbell gave her
report on the total givings of our
society up to date and also of tite
Thank -offering. A Christmas verse
is to be used for roll roll response
in December. The period in
which the topic Is usually given
was taken up by the reading of a
Provincial Report of all the Presby-
teries react by Mrs. Martha Mac-
Donald, Mrs, Robt. Campbell, and
Miss A. Forrest. The offering was
presented and Hymn 599 "0 God of
Bethel" was sung. Mrs. MacIver
led in Prayer and refreshments were
served by the hostesses and a social
time enjoyed.
Mrs. Allen Cameron presided
over a meeting of the Ladies' Md.
Hymn 595 'Work for the Night is
Coning" was sung. Reports of the
rash donations and congregational
supper were given by the treasurer.
Mrs. M. 'Engel, It was voted to
donate the sum of fifteen dollars to
the honour roll fund treasurer A. L.

Mr. and Mrs. Murray Parton and
daughter Sharon Anne spent the
week end with Allen and Mrs.
Cameron. Mrs, Cameron returned
to London with thele for a visit with
members of her family there.

Mr. and Mrs, Lyle Gordon spent
Tuesday in Toronto where they
attended the Royal Winter Bair.

the producing, processing, distributing, transporting and market-
ing of milk including whole milk and such products of milk as are
supplied, processed, distributed or sold in any form; the costs,
prices, price -spreads, trade practices, methods of financing, manage-
ment, grading, policies and any other matter relating to any of
them but not as to restrict the generality of the foregoing, the
effect thereon of any subsidies or taxes paid or imposed.
the scheme contemplated by the provisions of The Milk Control
Act,12..S.0,, 1937, Chapter 76 as amended, and the administration
thereof by the Milk Control Board.
To facilitate the work of the Commission it is requested that
written submissions by interested persons be submitted to the
undersigned NOT LATER THAN 21st NOV. 1946. Sub-
mission may be in the form of briefs, but in any event shall
be furnished in ten copies.
Details of the times and places of public hearings will be
announced in the press at an early date.
