in Brussels on Sunday, August 18th,
when friends and acquaintances from
near and far gathered to pay their
last respects to the late Mrs, Finlay
M. Semis.
Siekness overtook Mrs. Semis
while holidaying with her fancily

James B. Kerney, a highly esteem-
ed and respected resident of Blue -
vale passed sway on Thursday 1

years. For some time he had
suffered from a heart condition and
on Monday he was sericken with a !
stroke of Paralysis from which he
did not rally.
Mr, Kerney was horn 1n Morris ,
Township and attended S.S, No. 3.
H e was harried at Blyth on March
21st, 1894 to Annie Miller of Morris
and continued to live in the township
where he carried of snceessful
farming nnti1 19 years ago when he
retired to Blnevale.
He' leaves to mourn his death, his
