And The Change In the Price Of Milk
Mr. C. M. Meek, Chairman of the Ontario Milk Control
Board, has announced that:
"Milk Tickets purchased at the subsdized price (prior
to June lst) and in the hands of consumers on June 1st will
be worth 2c per quart less than the legal price which will be in
effect on June 1st, and consumers using subsidizied tickets
will have to pay a difference of 2c per quart.

The Young People's Anniversary
Service was held in Duff's United
Ohureh, Walton on Sunday morning,
The church was nicely .decorated
with spring flowers, and a large
congregation 'attended. Under the
direction of Miss Elva Sholdice, a
choir comprised of members of the
Union sang two anthems with a duet
;taken by Mrs, D. Lawless and Miss
Doreen Coutts. M4ss June Work of
Brussels was the special soloist,
singing "Open the Gates of the
Temple". Special instrumental
numbers on the organ and piano
were played before the service and
during the offering by Miss Elva
Sholdice and Miss Doreen. Cou4js•
Rev. Hazelwood was assisted in the
.service by the local president, Mr.
W. J. Learning and by the Presbytery
Y,P. President, Mr. D. Lawless.

Mr, and Mrs. John McIntosh of
Molesworth, former residents of
Bluevale, celebrated the 54th anni-
versary of their marriage recently.
The occasion was cinietly marked as
they are not enjoying very good

the "Peace Thankofferiug" Fund.
