Many were nor only brilliant in aspect but clever in design The promenades took place in the main hall, decorated with Chinese lanterns Tie old organ did its best to supply music. As part of the program there was a Witches booth et which fortunes were told. This includes all bachelors and widowers without children (not otherwise excepted) who were 20 years old on the 13th October, 1917, and whose 34th birthday did not occur before January 1st, 1917.
