adopting minutes of last meeting the
report of the Committee on revision of
the Rules was read, discussed and
adopted. On motion it was decided,
owing to the, half holiday in town on
Thursday during July and August, to
cense the Library those afternoons and
open It Wednesday afternoons instead
for tbe months mentioned. All Library
books are to be called induring the first
week of tiny for stock taking and repairs.
If you have one or more books in your
possession please bend them in, without
being further notified to do so Regret

Rev. S. Young, Presbyterian clergy-
man, and one of the oldest and most
highly respected residents of Cl+fford,
died Sunday morning, June 3rd, in his
8o'h yew, He went to Clifford in 1877
and was peator of Knox church for

Years, resigningata; his chargea about 6 years
ago, but continuing to supply vacancies
until his eyesight foiled and he was com-
pelled to give tip the work, He cele-
brated bis 5Oth year in the ministry on
Septr/rtber nee 1916 He supplied
Knox Church, Brussels, at one time and
was a great friend of the late Rev, S.
(ones, so well remembered by the peop-
le of this locality.
