The New Mill Running
Everybody in this locality felt a
great loss had been suffered by the
community when the Pryne Mill was
destroyed by flee last Spring. In its
plan now atands new premises as
large, except in height, and fitted nut
in the moat modern plan. Pryne &
Co. sold out to Messrs. Naegele &
Logan and under their personal dit•ec-
don the work has progressed until the
machinery was set in motion last
week.
New buiiding has cement walla and
is 40x56 feet, 2, stories, substantially
built throughout and planned for the
business. The engine and boiler
horses adjoin the mill on the South.
Machinery is the best going and con-
sists of a 24 inch grain grinder with
capacity. of 00 bags per hour ; an 18
inch grinder capable of handling 60
bags per hour ; and a 12x24 toll for oat
flidemg that can put through abag in 80
Remands. These machines are:driven
by 2 Barber Turbines of 85 horse
power each. with abnut 12 foot head
of water, which may be figured on for
about 9 months In the year. To sup-
plement any shortage there is a 95
horse power engine and a boiler of 110
horse power capacity so that things
should go with a lively move, as they
do.
Easy and convenient methods of
handling the grain and chop are being
adopted in the way of trucks, bins,
elevatore, etc., so that there will be as
little delay. as possible. A business
office ie being fitted up with desk,
telephone, etc., and when everything
is completed the Hem will have a
modern plant capable of attending to
the needs of this section, which is
more and more becoming a stock
feeding territory. A stock of flour
and feed will be kept and grain may
be bought when bins and elevators
are built. A storm shelter, with
meted roof, has been placed across the
fropt of the rnill.
Messrs. Naegele & Logan, although
comparative strangers here, have
already moved themselves practical
men, have spared neither time nor
money in fitting out the mill arid will
be ready to give the public A 1 service
without annoying delays on account
of the increased capacity of the mac-
hinery,
We wish the new firm success and
bespeak for them not only the goodly.
share of trade enjoyed by the Pryne
Co. but a large increase in the growth
and development of stock feeding.
Telephone No, is 75.

Our Banks
and
Their Investments
Our Canadian Banks have, at the present time, more than one hun-
dred and twenty million dollars invested in Stocks and Bonds. All
their investments are in this form of securiey. That they are safe is
evident or they would not buy them to the extent that they do.
They muet be profitable, especially so at the present time, or the
Banks would not be increasing then) at the rate they are now doing.
Every month for some time past has shown a decided increase,
Another favorable point in connection with the securities is that they
may be sold just as easily and as quickly as they may be bought.
There ie always a ready market for there. Look at any Bank state-
ment; ask your Bank for their's ; and you will see these investments
under the heading "Inimediately Available Assets."
I can invest your money for you in exactly the same Securities as the
Banks themselves buy, I buy in the same market as the Banks and
at the same price.
At the preeetml time you will receive 7% on any investment I may make
for you. You may receive more, but not less. I will guarantee this
rate of interest for any period up to five years on any investment I
may make for you now, Send nre your name and addeese and I will
gladly tell you how 1 can do this and give you arty other information
you would like. This will incur no expense or obligation.
