The question. of leaving the lights on all night was discussed by the Council and it was shown that it would cost the town $75 per month to do this. No action was taken in this matter. His many friends will hope his best wishes may be realized. He was accompanied by Mrs, Horton. On Samuel Bissell's dairy farm at Salt.ford may be seen a real live white robin. The bird looks to all ap- pearances like any other robin with the familiar red breast of its species, but the wings are perfectly white and hence the peculiarity. It arrived at the opening of Spring accompanied by its mate, an ordinary brown robin and has raised one brood of young but none of the young bit•ds show traces of the white feathers of their parent.
