One of the most delightful and suc- cessful functions which have been held in connection with the Berlin and Waterloo Hospital took place at the Assembly Ball of t}le Berlin Collegiate Institute on Friday evening when three popular nm'8e8, Mrs. Matilda Ballard, Brussels ; Miss Olive Crossett, Sunderland, and A1iss Nora Afe•ner, Waterloo, graduated in lllgh staanding from the school in which they were in training for the last three years.
