ing health for the past couple of rears
but lived iu the hope of recruiting.
Mr Newsom was the son of Wm and
Mrs Newsom and lived on the 14 h

contractor and was an industrious man
In politics he was a Conservative and
he was a warm supporter of the Angli•
eau church. NL' Newsom was un-
married and lived with his mother
Funeral will take place Friday after-

Literary meeting of teat Friday was
