' They are the towns of Niagara on the Lake and Paris, and the townships of Adjala and Lancaster. :This makes a total of fifty-two municipalities now preparing for voting on January 5th. The Alliance is pushing its Field Day worlc with much energy, hold- ing at the present time an average of seventy-five services every Sunday. The Provisional districts have a good deal of unorganized territory, in which there is at present no official voters' list, such lists being only pre- pared when a Dominion election is corning on. If a Canada Temperance Act vote is to be taken, such a list must be prepared but it is not avail- able now. Officials at Ottawa hold that as no such list 11007 existsand there are no persons in the unorganized territory entitled to sign a petition far the submission of the Canada Temperance Act, and such a petition to be effective must be signed by at, least twenty-five per cent of the persona entitled to vote and that therefore, the temperance workers be- fore they can have a vote taken must, secure from among the voters in the unorganized territory, enough names to be twenty-five per cent of all the voters listed and unlisted, although the unlisted .o le cannot sign ig pep ca f s t.
