The meeting closed by singing the National Anthem. Bluevale Duncau Stewart and wife, of Victoria, B. 0., formerly of Bluevale, have been the guests of the 1st line of Morris for the past two weeks. They were over attending the big Oon- grees of the Peesbyterian cluirch, Toronto. Mr. Stewart built what is known as the Johnston church 50 years ago this Summer also the old Methodist and Presbyterian churches of Bluevale. Mrs. Stewart is a sister to Alis. James Fraser, 1st line. John- ston, of Carlyle, Manitoba, will regret to hear that he has been real ill for some time with gangrene in his left font but hope to hear of better condi- tions. He entered the ministry of the Methodist church in 1901 and has rendered good service at Berrie, Rutherford, Maid- stone and Ethel. He is genital, approachable and should do a good work on his new charge. Five years ago 11e married Aliss J. L. Mallory, of Belleville, an estimable person who fills her place well. Rev. and Mrs. McKelvie have done good work of former charges and it will no doubt be continued here with even larger rssults, Seaforth HYMNEAL.- A happy event took place at the home of Mrs. James Wiltse, Centre street Seaforth Wed- nesday, June 25111, when her -daugh- ter, Martha Irene, was united in mar- riage, at high nu0n, by Rev. Air, Brown, of St. Thomas' church, to Harold Deem, of Wingham, formerly of Seafotth. The bride was given away by her brother, Frank Wiltse, and wore a beautiful gown of cream satin and pearl trimmings and a chiffon veil Juliet style with orange blossoms and carried a baguet of bridal roses, Little Elaine Dennison, niece of the bride, acted as flower girl and carried a basket of roses. Meldelssohn's Wedding March was played by Mise Della Harris, of Walton, niece of the bride. The groom's gift to the bride was a gold cross ; to the pianist a gold bar pin ; and to the flower girl a brooch. After the ceremony the guests sat down to a dainty luncheon after which the happy couple left on the afternoon train for Toronto and other points. The young couple will take up their residence in \Vingham. Bride received many useful and costly . gifts among them a number of cheques.
