Key, formerly of Owen Sound, should
make a very strong team in the constit-
uency of Edmonton for the Saskatche
wan Legislature. We hope to see the
latter Premier of that Province at no
distant day. He possesses many of the
essentials of good leadership.
MONTREAL has set out with no less a
motto than ;'A slumless city" and is
bending its energies toward this happy
condition of affairs. Discussion is on
as to the advisability of buying oat some
of the slum districts and erecting there-
on a better class of buildings for homes.
No better missionary work can be done
toward the moral uplift of the degener-
ate and unthrifty.
A FINE stamp of a faithful, brave and
generous British officer responded to the
rill call last Tuesday, when Field Mar-
shal Viscount Wolseley passed away
in his Both year. He was born
near Dublin and entered the
army in . 1352 and saw service
at the Crimea, siege of Lucknow, the
Riel rebellion, the capture of Kumasi,
the Zola war and' Pel-el•keber. His
death took place in France and closed a
most eventful life, the story of which is
good reading.
Fees, reports published it would ap-
pear that the gale of Good Friday played
havoc very generally through the

p upositien offers a good opening to a
hustling man who is not afraid to work
and who would manufacture some line
of goods in demand by the public. If
this should catch the eve of a prospec-
tive purchaser a letter drooped to Reeve
Leckie or Clerk Scott would bring a
reply that perhaps would surprise the
person disposed to venture. Do you
know of such a man,
FRIDAY and Saturday, April rah and
isth, the anuual Conference of Boy
Scout workers will be held in the city of
Toronto. It will be a provincial gather
iug and the program will include many
of the prominent workers iu this inter-
esting departtnent of labor with the
youth. There are some features of the
Boy Scout movement that we do not
fall in line with very heartily but what
ever will develop the manly qualities
and aid a boy in overcoming tendencies
that lead to evil should be backed up.
It occurs to as that the Sunday Schools
and Young Peoples' Peo le,' ` ci
5o setas should
never have lost their grip on this class
of service and will not do the effective
work they should until some such com-
bination is effected.
OF one thing Brussels may be assured
viz, that if progress is to be made it
must be by a hustle within our borders.
No outside municipality will band us
over an industry or lend a hand to boost
t lose we already possess. Hence if a
toi'ward move is desired there must be
a spirit of unity coupled with pride in
our town, everybody willing to lift
tither than to throw stones. Secondly,
":t bird to the hand is worth 2 in the
lmeh" so that where the record of a
local institution bears the stamp of
o.: iievement there you, in all probebili-
e'rike something that a well directed
heiieng hand may aid in doubling its
::nplovees and making the place
knew to the outside world by the
quantity and quality of its output. Be-
cause some things tried In the past did
not go with a rush is no criterion.
Scores of other towns lost ten times
more heavily than Brussels but tried
again end met with success. Brussels Is
in a good shape financially and will be
emetically out ofdebt in a few years
but the way to keep shriving is to keep
growing and with a spirit of hopefulness
and buovaucy that puts thrift and vim
into every reasonable business proposi-

would you rather be a drone or a good

THE POST would like to see a combina-
tion of forces in and about Brussels in
the purchase of a building suitable for
hospital purposes. It need not be large
nor expensively furnished but such a
place under the wise and economical
management of a matron and nurse
would no doubt prove a great conveni-
ence to the people of this locality
primarily and to the medical profession
of this area. The old theory that better
care can be takeu of a patient at dome
than in the hospital dies hard, largely
from sentimental uotions but where
such an institution has an opportunity of
proving the effective work that may be
done the converts are many.
The subject of a local hospital
was discussed some years ago but was
allowed to drop but to -day appears to be
a more opportune time than in ant
that is past, owing to the many changes
that are taking place in ways and means
of treating diseases. -We would like to
hear discussions ou the question.
Like A Thief In The Night
That's how pain comes. We sit
near an open window, get stiff neck
or sore back. Perhaps cool off too
quickly after exettinn—rheumatisru
developes.
Spend what you may, but money
can't buy anything better than Nervi•
line. Its penetrating power enables
it to reach deep tissues,— that's why
It Cares aches that all else can't touch.
Pot outward application we guaran-
tee five times more strength than in
any other liniment. Inwardly it's
harmless and as sure as the hereafter
to ease at once. Don't accept a
substitute for Nerviline which is the
one great household panacea of today.

The Easy Laxative
in justice to yourself you should try Rexall Orderlies, —your
money back if you don't like them. They are a candy con.
flection that really do give easy relief from constipation.
Good health is largely dependent
upon the bowels. When they become
sluggish the waste material that is
thrown off by the system accumu-
lates. This condition generates
poisons which circulate throughout.
the body, tending to create coated
tongue, bad breath, headache, Buil
brain action, nervousness, biliousness
and other annoyances.
Avoid harsh cathartics and physics.
They give but temporary- relief,
They often aggravate the real trouble,
They are partioularly bad for chil-
dren, delicate or aged persons.
fav,r^m,,Y'm s
Come in tablet form, taste just like
candy and are noted for their easy,
soothing action upon the bowels.
They don't purge, gripe, cause
nausea, looseness, nor the inconven-
iences attendant upon the use of
purgatives. Their action is so pleas-
ant that the taking of Rexall Order-
lies almost becomes a desire instead
of a duty.
Children like Rexall Orderlies.
They aro ideal for aged or delicate
persons as well as for the most robust.
They act toward relieving. eonatipa ;,
tion, and also to overcome its cause
and to make unnecessary the fre-
quent use of laxatives, They serve
to tone and strengthen the nerves
and muaales of the bowel--' uud assn-
