Church Chimes PRESBYTERY OF HURON.—The Presby- tery of Huron heed its regular meeting in Clinton on December Loth, The following were present :—Mr. Carriere, moderator, anti Messrs. Grant, Richard- son, Fletcher, McFarlane, Larkin, Tut ns• t, Carswell, South, Sharp, Ross, Pearcy, and Hamilton, ministers, and Messrs. Gardiner, Love, Strang, Jamieson, Murclie.and Gileltan, elders. The first business to be considered was the adoption of the annual budget. It was deemed advisable to postpone de. cisme until the next meeting of Presby tery, when delegates from the different congregations are expected to be pres ent. ;Mr. Smith, of Hensel], 'was elect- ed treasurer of Presbytery. • It was decided that 'the Presbytery would continue its custom of paving the ex- penses of its own commissioners to the General Assembly. A rate of fifteen cents per family was fixed as meeting the requirements of the Presbytery fund far 1913. It WAS found necessary to disband the congregation at Chisel - hest and Messrs.
