The 15th annual Convention Of Hur-
on 0o. W. 0. T. U. was held Tuesday
and IVednesday, Sept. 24 and 25, in
the Methodist church, 13lyth. These
annual gatherings of Tem peraitce

in,011 1111110 US the yearly work of the
Comity is reviewed.
Fifteen departments of work were
taken up during the past year and as
the Superintendent of each gave a re-
port: of work aecomplished during the

and be thankful for.
There are seven Unions in Huron
County 11 03111113), Clinton, Blyth,
Exeter, Zurich, Wingbani and Brus-
sels and were all well 0))t'1)81311 fed by
delegates Lo the Convention.
Tuesday evening, the meeting WAS
held 111 the auditorium of the church
and after the opening exercises by the
0o. President, Mrs. Penick, of Exeter,
Rev. Mr. Peavey, Presbyterian minis-

A. very pleasing Frahm. of the Con-
vention was the Medal Contest, on
Tuesday evening, when siX silver
Medalists competed l'or the Gold
Medal for the County. Those holding
the silver medals were Lila }Listing,

Ross, Wingliam ; Annie Maines,
Blyth ; Alay Skelton and Clarence
Anderson, Brussels, Little Willie
Manson dueled off the prize.' Real -

listeners who seemed well pleased with
the decision of the Indges. Each of
