officers for the coming year will be

ACCIDENT. -Joe Thomson, of Mont-
real, was run into by a motor car, of
which the chauffeur had temporarily
lost control, and had his back injured
against a brick wall. The accident oc-
curred in Toronto, Mr. Thomson feels
the effects of the squeeze yet. He is a
brother of Robert' Thomson and is visit-
ing in Brussels at the present.

Dames, who had the misfortune to have
his left hand badly injured some months
ago by the premature explosion of dyna-
mite caps, bas Made a good recovery
with the exception of the little finger.
It was £ouud to be giving trouble so
another portion of it was amputated.

ihealing and that Mr. Danes will be re-
lieved of the pain he has endured,

CUPID's Vic'roav,-A quiet but pretty
wedding was solemnized at the home of
Geo and Mrs. Wood, Kincardine, when
their daughter, Ida Mary, was united in
matrimony with Luther A. Ball, of
Aylmer, formerly of Brussels. The
house was prettily decorated with asters,
palms and sweet peas• the bridal couple
standing under an arch of greenery and
esters. The ceremony was conducted
by Rev, A. A. Bice, of London. cousin
of the bride, assisted by Rev. M. Mc-
Arthur, of Kincardine. Miss Gladys
Wood sister of the bride, played

march, The bride, who was
given away by her father, wore a gown
of white satin and pearls, a tulle veil
with orange blossoms and carried a
shower boquet of roses and lily of the
valley. Her only

fast the bride and groom left on a trip to

quisette ad carrying a baguet of pink
and white sweet peas. The ring bearer,
Beulah Poole, niece of the groom, in
blue silk carried the ring

suspended two satin hearts joined by a
lovers' knot, under which they were
married. Wagner's Bridal chorus was
played by Miss Pearl Sharpe, wearing a
pearl grey silk and the solo, "Because"
was well sung by Miss Bertha Sharpe,
of Toronto, Rev. Dr. Oaten was the
officiating minister and the bride
was given away by her father.
The bride was very becomingly
attired in a gown of White
Hindu hand embroidery, a veil of Brus-
sels net embroidered in silk was worn
and carried a shower baguet of Lily of
the Valley and maiden hair fern.
Travelling dress was a tailored Suit of
cinnamon brown with valour hat and
Cavalier plume, Only the immediate rela-
tives and friends of the bride were
present. A wedding luncheon was
served after congratulations and was
followed by a short toast list, The bride
and groom went on the afternoon train
for a short honeymoon and left for their
borne in Brandon on Saturday morning.
Wedding gifts were numerous, valuable
and well selected, Among the guests
