Seaforth Robert Scott, one of Paisley's most prominent citizetts, died Thursday of last week at his residence, Goldie street, Paisley atter a lingering illuss•i of pernicious anaemia. The late Me. Scott was born 70 years ago in Rox- boro', Huron Coe!'ty near Seafurth, and foe upwards or 41) years was in the grain business in Paisley. He was widely known and highly esteemed in business circles. He also took a seen interest in all moral reforms and all iuttttere pertaining to the welfare or Hie town. H, Ferguson, 5th line, con- taining the sad news, that her sister, Miss Grace Irvine, who had spent the past 23 yeau s under direction of the Chinet ]neland Missionary Society, had passed away to her reward, The message came from Shanghai, but gave no particulars, Miss Irvine's field was Yang Hen. She had only been home once, so devoted was she to her work. Two other sisters are also Missionaries in Chiba, Miss Mary, who was here on furlough last year, and Miss Elizabeth. on her way home at the present time.
