Had A Nasty Fall
A couple of weeks ago Mrs. Thos,
Maunders who resides In Detroit, and
a former well known lady in this
eommunity, while standing on a chair
fell and received a bad shaking up.

Clifford Editor Dead.
The death occurred on Saturday
last, December 12th., of James R.
Aitchison, of Clifford, editor of the
Ciibord Express, in his 72nd year.
Mr. Aitchison who has edited the Ex-
press for many years, has been in
poor health for some time. The fun'-
eral was held on Tuesday to Lovet
cemeteryy, Bruce township.
Western Farmers Go Holidaying.
A. reflection of the result of good
crops and good prices is found in the
fact that railway traffic officials re-
port .a very large demand for accom-
odation for holiday trips to Eastern
Canada, the United States, Great Bri-
tain and the European countries. The
demands of this traffic are con rider -
ably in excess of a year ago,
