J. Al. Henry had the misfortune to
receive a severe shaking up by a fail
in the mill on Monday. We hope
Mr, Henry will soon be over the ef-
fects of his fall.
Miss Margaret Hayden was oper-
ated on for appendicitis on Wednes-
day last by Drs. Hantbly, of Wing -
hare; McMaster, of Ethel, and Mc-
Leod, of Wroxeter. We are glad to
report she is now on the way to re-
covery again.
The Contest in the united Church
League will end on Thursday night

The funeral was held on Sunday
afternoon of the late Mrs. William
Annett, from the home of her son,
Percy Annett, Elma Boundary. The
deceased suffered a paralytic stroke
a few weeks ago from which she
never regained normal consciousness
again. Her .husband' predeceased
her about five years ago. The ser-
vice was conducted by Rev. D. M.
Guest with interment in Elma Cem-
etery. A large gathering was pre-
sent, showing the respect in which
the late Mrs. Annettrand her family
are held in the community.

sion. Mr. Fells' has served about 8

Successful anniversary services

Church on Sunday by Rev. A. S.
Grant, D.D., secretary of the general
