Small Cards.
The post office officials have drawn
attention to the great .number of
small cards and envelopes that are
mailed from time to.. time during the
various holiday seasons, especially at
Christmas time, causing considerable
annayence to the -public as well as
to the postol$ee. Those small cards
or envelopes are difficult to sort and
are readily lost. The postal author
hies therefore urge that the public
stop sending envelopes or cards
smaller than 3 inches by .1 inches.

hath sent Me, even so send i you.
Whose soever sins ye remit, they
are remitted unto them, and whose
soever sins ye retain, they are retain-
ed unto them," was Rev, T. J. Rob-
inson's text last Sunday ,horning in
Aieivi•1te church. When mon come
in 'contact with Christ and turn to
himtheir he stns are remitted, but if
they turn away from Christ they re-
tain their sins. Every life has the
)never either to draw men to Christ
and have their sins remitted, or to
turn them away from Christ and have
their sins retained. At the evening
service Mr. Robinson's text was Matt.
26:24 "The Son of Man goeth forth
as it is written of Hini; but woe unto
that man by whom the Son of _Ian
is betrayed; it had been good for that
mat if he hadnot been horn." We
can best understand the meaning of -
the text by taking the Greek mean-
ing of the word good. It were bet-
ter as the world sees it if Judas had
not been born into this experience
but Lf Judas, filled with remorse had
come back -to. Christ as Peter had,
he would have been forgiven and the
story of his life would end differently.
In this theme is for us the lesson that
when .we betray Christ if we only
turn to Him He -is willing to forgive.
