CANT RE DONE -No piper can be puhlshed without home patronage, sod every man is interested i n keeping up a home paper. If a railroad or a factory is wanted, the newspapers are expected to work for it. If a public meeting is wanted for any purpose. the newspaper is caltedupon for a free notice, 1f any of the societies have a supper or recep- lioa of any kind, the newspaper is ex- pected to give the necessary notice, Che• newspaper must puff the schools and everything alseto advance the in- terests of the business men of the town, and then give them a handsome notice when they pass away. And yet some of them do nothing to keep up a home paper. B. C. S.
