DIED SIIDDENLY.-Last Saturday Chas, Dalgaleish, Stratford, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs G. W. Ward, very suddenly. aged 78 years. His wife is a sister to Mrs Jas Cardiff, Brussels, and was visiting is Brussels at the time, having come to attend Mr. Cardiff's funeral last week Deceased had been a resident of Strat ford for past re years, moving from near Bright. On returning' Miss Sbaw continued her musical edu- cation and also filled theatrical engage= ments in New York. Mr. Halpenny was 24 years of age midis survived by hie wife and young son,uet 6 weeks old, and his parents, Edward and Mrs. Halpenny, Trowbridge. At the time of the accident Mr. Halpenny, was helpinga neighbor, Edward Medd, to cut down a tree.
