widow of the late John Livingston,
formerly of Grey toWIship, passed
away at the home of her daughter, Mrs.
Bert. Gerry, Fort William, -aged 77
years 4S'te had been' in poor health for
the pest 4 years from enlarged arteries
and had .been in bed most of that time,
being lovingly looked after by her
d it ghter, -assisted by a nurse. For
'about a Week prior to her demise deceas-
ed had lapsed into an Unconscious con•
dition. It was a happy release when
the dissolution took place as she was a
great sufferer at times, Mrs, Living•
stop WES born at Armagh, Ireland, COm-
ing io Canada when 13 years of age. 6o.
years ago she was united in marriage to
Jobn Livingston, who died 37 years
ago. They came to this locality 37 years
ago. Suryiviog members of the family

Fred, Lowry, Port Huron, has been
visitiug his brothers in town. He is a
street ear Conductor. T ne job appears
to agree well with him judging by ap-
pearances. He was born in Brussels.
G. A. Deadman is back from Merliu,
Oat , where he has spent the Summer
with his bees. He housed 275 hives for
the Winter before leaving. While the
early portion of the season was poor fur
honey making the latter part was extra
good.
Mrs. L. Stark and Miss Ruth return•
ed to their home iu Toronto last Friday
after speeding the past few weeks at
the home of the former's mother, Mrs.
Marsden Smith, who is laid aside by a
stroke of paralysis. There is little
change in her coodiaton.
Mrs, T. Davidson and Miss Mary are
back from an enjoyable trip of 6 weeks
to the West. They visited at Winnipeg,
Arcola, Carlyle, Forget, Stoughton and
other points. Saw many old friends and
bad a good time. Heavy rain is some
places rather delayed threshing opera-
tions and lowered the grade of wheat,
Oswald Hemingway, who has filled
the post of teller In the Batik of Nova
Scotia here, has been promoted to St.
Catharines and will leave for his new
p het of duty this week. Tits POST has
