CALLED Ix HER YouTH.—A. feeling
of sadness prevailed in the community
when it was learned that Winnifred
Munro, youngest daughter of Mrs.
Munro and the late Alex. Munro, had
passed away on Sunday night, Sept.
4th, at Gr'avenhuist. She bad been
Leaching school in Winnipeg when
her health became impaired, necessit-
ating her return home in June. A
month ago she went to Gravenhurst,
hoping to benefit by the change but
other complicatious setting in proved
too much for her weakened condition
and she passed away suddenly, her
mother only reaching her bedside a
few hours before her decease. Win-
nifred was in her 24th year and had
been a particularly clever student. Of
a bright disposition, she had a cheer-
ful word for every one and her death
is deeply deplored. She is survived
by her mother, a sister, Annie, and 3
brothers, Donald, Jno. and Allan, for
whom sincerest sympathy is felt
in their sore affiietatel. A private
funeral was held to the Wroxeter
cemetery Wednesday nfrernonn, the
Rev. Dr. Harkness officiating.
