ADDRESS AND PRESENTATION,—Wed•

1 P
Mrs. S. Scott, for manyv
years Su
er-
intendant of the Band, who was remov-
ing to London. Jean Ferguson read
the following address and Isabel Mc-
Kay made the presentation of a fancy
wicker table andflowerplant bolder,:—
There once was an old lady
Who resided in a shoe .
And had such a big family
She hardly knew what to do.
So she put their Bair in papers,
And packed them in bed.:
"Tomorrow is Mission Band,"
'Phis Rood lady said,
We're glad we are numbered
Along with the rest,
And try to be faithful
To meet each request. •
But we're sorry today
That our ranks must be broken
And desire to prove it
By our thanks and this token.
We have priced Mrs. Scott
For her kindness and Love,
Her reward is assured,
Both on earth and Above,
She'il be well remembered
For many a year
And return visits to Brussels
Will always bring cheer.
We sore begrudge her
To London, the small.
And we're sorry to lose her,
We are—one and all.
THE BAND.
Mrs. Scott made a most appropriate re-
ply thanking the children for their kind-
ness and wishing them and their parents
many joys and successes. She had
many regrets in leaving Brussels but
none more than parting with the boys
and girls. Brussels awl the years spent
here would always be indellibly impres-
sed on her memory. Afternoon on was
given up to games for the children after
which supper was served on the lawn,
The Mission Band will long remember
Mrs, B. S. Scutt and the deep interest
Always manifested coupled with many
qualifications in formulating and carry-
ing out her plana will not he easily'
duplicated, although the record of the
Band baa been an excellent one from its
