"Rich Girl, Poor Girl"
The colonel's lady and Judy O'Grady
are said by, Mr. Kipling to be eub•
cutaneous sisters, but if they look
exactly aline the complications can
become intricate.
Such a situation exient in "Rich
Girl, Poor Girl," which is Doming to
the Family Theatre on Monday with
Gladys Walton as the star, The
pbotodrama concerns two girls who
look exaotly alike. One is a little gut-
ter waif from the ,alums, while the
is a pampered daughter of a multi-
millionaire, The two girls change
identities for an hour. In .the rags of
the poor gia the rich girl goes to the
slums and is kicked and beaten by the
drunken father of Nora McShane,
Nora, wearing the fine clothes of
Beatrice Vanderfieet, her counterpart,
"plays lady" in the Vanderfieet
palace,
J. G. Hawks, who wrote the story,
has given a thrilling climax to a series
of incidents that never lose their grip
on the attention. Harry Harris, who
directed Nitta Walton in the produc-
tion, has added a few thrills of his
' own and the result is a photodrama
that fairly crackles with tense situa-
tions.
