Feild wasnotified by telephone that his mother, Mrs, Francis Feild, of Hamilton had pa -sed awry. The deceased had been ailing since the firs' of tbe year but her death was unexpected and the news was a shock. Dr. Feild left by early train for Hamilton to attend the funeral, which was not held for a few days owing to the feet that one member of the family was coming from the West Dr. Feild has the sincere sym- pathy of his many friends in the loss of his mother." THE LATE JAMES WORKMAN — A Hills Green correspondent speaks of the decease of Mrs. Howard Bolger's father as follows; —It is with feelings of thr deepest regret that we chronicle the passing away of one of the oldest resi dents of the Parr Line, Stanley, in the person of James Workman in his 75tr year.
