Newspapers proaning under the soar-
ing prices of ordinary newsprint may
extract some hope for brighter days
from an article on "The Pulping of Jack
Pine” in the November number of Can-
adian Forestry Magazine. The Waya-
gamack Pulp & Paper Company of
Three Rivers experimented for several

3rd spruce for sulphite pulp, and later calla -
