marked the Heal episode which cul-
minated 0n the "burning of the Men -
gage" on Blyth Memorial Community
111411, which was witnessed by a large
assemblage of residents of the com-
munity. The Hall is now free from
debt and this splendid strncturestands
as a testimony to the worth of the
people of the community in erecting
such a hundeowe• )memorial to the
soldiers of this section who served in
the World War, The erection and
completion of Blyth Memorial Com-
munity Hall was the outcome of the
united efforts of the residents of Blyth
and the townships of Norris, Hallett
and East 1Vawanosh. The turning of
the first sod which marks the place
where the Hall now stands occurred
in the Spring of 1020 and on the 28th
of July of that year the laying of the
corner stone was fittingly observed,
