H. Love, of this village, who attended the funeral:— The funeral of the late Gilbert Love Who passel:Iaway on Jan. 6, took place from his /ate residence Mitchell Square, on Monday, Jan. 9. Mr. Love was born in Wallace Township, North Perth, 64 years ago. His fa- ther came frons Ireland and his moth- er was a Canadian. As a young man he came to Barrie and for a short time worked at shoemaking. For a number of years he was a painter and decorator until for his health's sake, he bought out a livery and carried on that business for six years. Forty- two years ago he married Eliza Ro. gees of Barrie, formerly of New Low., Barrie they went to the farm in Oro e . When Me. and Mrs Love left Township on the fifth concession where Erneet Love lives today. 19 years were spent on the farm, then Mr. and Mrs. Love retired to Shanty Bay. In 1919, feeling he was good for work again, be bought out the general store at Mitchell Square, he agent his remaining clays. Fur a number of years Mr. Love wee one of the ziaditors of the townshin Oro. He was a very capahle business splendid neighbor.
